Role Summary  

Chubb Edwards Central Monitoring Station in Mississauga currently requires permanent and contract Alarm Operators (full time hours) to monitor and respond to alarm signals in a prompt and efficient manner following established procedures and guidelines.

The Monitoring Station operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
 Candidates are required to be flexible to receive day or night shift hours.

Key Job Responsibilities 

Responds to incoming signals in a prompt and efficient manner, ensuring excellent response time.
Listens to customers and identifies needs and/or problems, decides which course of action should be taken based on the particulars of the situation and follows established procedures and guidelines
May provide some verbal assistance to customers in resolving issues regarding basic system operation and maintenance.
Ensures his/her knowledge is kept abreast of any and all operational changes, equipment/system updates, changes in company policies, etc.  that will have an effect on operations and productivity.
Provides backup supervision to Operators in absence of Team Manager during weekends, vacations, etc.
